Entrusted by a certain group and a university, FLINK jointly developed China's first race car for the World Solar Challenge.

The World Solar Challenge is the world's premier solar racing event, held biennially. The race spans a total of 3,000 kilometers from Darwin in northern Australia to Adelaide in the south. The course is mainly composed of deserts and forests, with scorching temperatures and long-distance, ever-changing road conditions posing extremely tough challenges for both the drivers and the race cars. The race car was driven by Hu Yi, a racing driver licensed by the FIA, a supercar race champion, and also the Deputy General Manager of FLINK.

After seven grueling days of racing, they finally reached the finish line in Adelaide, successfully completing the entire event. This pioneering achievement inscribed both a Chinese person and a carbon fiber race car made by Chinese hands into the history of the world's highest-level solar car race.

The materials regarding "Hu Yi, China's first World Solar Challenge race car driver" have also been collected by the Beijing Auto Museum, an official Chinese museum.
